ARTHROSCOPY – keyhole surgery
Arthroscopic Surgery, also known as keyhole surgery, is done with the help of miniaturized telescope (Arthroscope) to visualize the interior of the joint. Special miniaturized instruments are used to perform the operation. The advantages of arthroscopic surgery are: minimal surgical scars, better characterization of the injury, minimal damage to the muscles and faster recovery.
